Do you think its right or no?
Answer:
why would they skin the animal alive? wouldn't it be easier to kill it first - it definitely seems safer.
I believe the wolf almost died out because people considered them pests to livestock not because their skins are that valueable.
Just because it is a living creature does not make it immune to being killed - humans are living creatures too - just like wolves they try to eat - and therefore if a wolf tries to steal your food - naturely the first reaction is to kill it. Unlike the wold though we know enough that we can help the wolf after we have humbled it - I know this could be better written but I am in a hurry and at work.
That is so wrong. You should kill the animal first before skinning them.
Absolutely wrong.
Theere was a time when using animals for fur was valid--there was a real need for the warmth of fur. Our technology has long since made that unnecessary--and modern "mock furs" are virtually identicalin appearance or texture.
So there's absolutely NO excuse.
As for wolves--there's an interesting relationship in thea reas (in Montana, mostly) where wolves have been reintroduced. The ranchers and the environmentalists have become allies in protecting the wolves! Why is simple: they found thhey had a common enemy--developers who were mioving in, threatening both the ranchers and the wolves' habitat. The outcome has been an effective allliance. And some interesting innovations. One--a system of volunteers who track the wolves--and chase themaway from the cattle (and--the wolves are learning that if they leave the cattle alone, they'll be left alone!). And a lot of supporter s who are buying up land and placing it in perpetual trust as sanctuaries--maintained by revenues from resort logges (NO HUNTING!) on the sanctuaries in many cases.
Craby. that is good to hear about the relationship between ranchers and wolves. I am so sick of land development in the name of the MONEY. People need to stay the heck out of our wildlife resources and preserves.live in the city and visit such places if they have need of seeing them.
As to the question at hand, yes it is absolutely WRONG to kill wolves to extinction or for any other stupid reason besides population control or self-defense.
We went camping in area recently where a pack of wolves killed a Rottweiler ... The Fish and Game just simply told people to lock up their dogs and be careful. I think that is just the way wolves should be handled.
