How is Japan suffering from global warming?
Answer:
All countries suffer from global warming but the richer ones are better placed to combat some of the effects.
So far Japan seems to have escaped the droughts, floods, heatwaves etc that have affected many other parts of the world so they've got off fairly lightly.
Japan is a world leader when it comes to tackling global warming and for many years now they've been developing cleaner and more efficient technologies. Toyota, Nissan and Honda have made big improvements to their vehicles and they're very much in demand throughout the rest of the world. By becoming a leader in the fight against global warming Japan has certainly benefitted financially.
By comparison to other countries, the effects of global warming in Japan are relatively small - the average temperatures have risen slightly but it's not had an adverse effect on agriculture or industry.
What I suspect is most likely to happen in the future is that Japan will suffer knock on effects. For example, as global economies are hit there will be a decline in exports, crop failures in other countries could lead to some food shortages etc.
The known worldwide effects of GW are described on this page http://profend.com/global-warming/pages/... and the probable future effects on tnis page http://profend.com/global-warming/pages/...
They are not suffering from global warming. Hard to suffer from something that lacks scientific evidence. However, it's good fodder for Hollywood vanity and old political retreads! Enjoy the ride.
Same as us. Weird weather conditions that are out of the ordinary are more popular though.
The Japanese are drowing in American dollars from all the hybrid vehicles bought.
