What kind of power plant is the one in Redondo Beach, CA?

How does this plant generate power and what kinds of dangerous emissions and other pollution does it generate?

Answer:
As power plants have to have air permits approved by your state department of environmental quality, you should not be mad at the plant, but the regulatory agency which states that their discharge is safe.

If you want to know what their discharge is, you can review their permit (probably online), at your state Department of Environmental Quality.

Without the name of the operator of the plant, I can not look it up for you, so you will have to check it yourself.
Is that the one with the two red and white stacks, right off the beach? I believe it's coal-fired, but it MIGHT us natural gas or a combination of both.
