Everyone has their own idea when they answer, somewhere in those collection of ideas, one finds the answer which he/she can relate to and feels comfortable with.
Whereas with the experts, you have no choice but to follow their opinion which in truth is but a collection of ideas from other people too, albeit gathered in a scientific manner.
In this interactive venue, it makes a person feel comfortable to know that in the vast population of humanity, someone somewhere out there feels and thinks the same way he/ she does. In a world full of strangers we feel at home somehow. Let me see if an expert can make you feel that way.
Laziness, but experts don't have ALL the answers. Sometimes you just need an average person's opinion.
to pass time, to get friends, to get attention, whatever..
Because it's faster, free and you get several opinions over one problem.
I think this way is more fun sometimes.
Remember that some people can't afford to talk to an expert about their problems. Especially emotional problems.

your peers can give you good advice and give you answers that you can easily understand.
i think FunQA.com is the best place to go to ask for peoples opinions ..one "expert" could not give you as good an opinion on something as 10 replys on here.

Just because there experts doesn't mean they have all the answers . Most of the experts go by the book and there sure has been allot of books proved wrong . At one time the experts said the world was flat . You don't still believe that do you ?
Well it is simple. Firstly, experts DO NOT now every answer. Sometimes the average person knows more than them. And well, if you think that experts have all the answers why not ask an expert why people use FunQA.com? Think about that...

We have expert opinion on everything but you know.. .science has forgotten the voodoo. I am getting acupuncture on my shoulder and it is getting better... nobody knows why... and I dont care why... just that it is. FunQA.com gives a range of half baked.. poorly written , ill considered expressions drawn from life experiences, assumptions, misunderstandings and misinformation.
