im also working on reducing global warming. i buy those curly light bulbs, and use as many solar panels as possible. but nothing tops it then an electric car. you can do a conversion of your vehicle between 9,000 to $15,000 dollars. depending on the batery and size of motor. hope it helps. if only there were more people like you that care
use your own energy to accomplish tasks like getting from one place to another try and switch of electric pilot lights and recycle ie plastic bags reuse as bin bags also buy products that arnt covered in unessessary wrapping reuse clothes bags etc by updating them or swop with mates [a lot of these ideas also save u money] think the less i spend the less my carbon emissions will be.
It is difficult for any one individual to participate in our society without contributing to global warming, because everything about our technology, from food production to transportation to home heating to steel production, is based on the use of fossil fuels. The most important thing is to change that for everyone, by changing all of our energy sources to nuclear and renewable sources. This will require political action, and the most important thing you can do for the Earth is to promote and support such political action.
Cease to live a high standard of living. Shiver in the winter without a fire. Stop emitting CO2 by ceasing to breathe. Yay! All your carbon emissions have stopped!
