Global Warming?

Can somebody tell me what will happen in the next 50 years?

Answer:
Free floating polar ice is regulated by the thermohaline conveyor. Too much melting ice has the potential of disrupting the conveyor and triggering global cooling and glacial advance. This could happen in the next 50 years although it'll probably be more like 300 years.

In the meanwhile, sea rise will be a few inches, temperature maybe another half degree rise...
sea levels will rise and climates will too! The greatest landmarks will be melting...the atlantics ice will melt abut 30%

Here is a very interesting clip of what I mean.

Everything will be melted, like ice-cream. ? if people will survive,plants,animals....W... got to stop that! Its early our lifes be finished
If the temperatures continue to rise, Sea levels will rise and we will lose property and low lying island people will lose their homes. The ice will melt and we will lose endangered species. Some Animals and plants will not be able to cope with temperatures and possibly become extinct. There will be more extreme weather events, like drought, storms etc
unless someone has the ability to look into the future and find accurate results (then talk to me!), then no, I can't tell you. BUT I can try and predict what will happen.

possibly a 'dramatic' (2-3C higher maybe, or lower.) temperature change

sea levels rising (uh oh)

change in climate, more extreme climates

and finally. the sun will be blocked out by gaseous clouds and we'll all die!! (sorry, got a bit carried away there. =D)
Global potable water shortage will increase
people will fight over water ,they already are in some places ,and `many people are already getting sick or even dying because they have no alternative but to drink contaminated water.

Food prices will increase because of crop loss due to temperature changes .Land loss due to desertification, erosion and rising tide lines (already some coastal areas are flooding )and a decrease in farmers and lack of irrigation water.

Climatic changes will become more obvious

More people will die, due to heat or cold waves .

Governments will become unstable because they will not be able to handle their peoples problems

Many more animals will become extinct because of loss of Habitat.
Of the earth's estimated 10 million species, 300,000 have vanished in the past 50 years. each years, 3,000 to 30,000 species become extinct.
A lot of human activity is speeding that up since we tend to overpower all the other species in one way or another.

Ecological disasters will increase

We can expect more regulations on energy use, water usage, mode of traveling ,polluting factors.

The people who are Friends of the planet ,(the Environmentally conscientious ones) ,will become divided from those who persistantly behave anti-Ecological and we can expect increasing hostility between the two concepts ending in deaths on both sides .

Religious movements will become more Fanatical .

Followers of Gaia or Pagan minded People will become more numerous (they already have been gathering, increasing in number over the last 10 years )

We can expect a lot more Mass rallys .

Well that was the good news so far
As for the bad news
The posibility for a Global war will increase.

And many prophetic predictions were for 2012
so ten years already is an optimistic point of view.
