We are having a problem with nats, or fruit flys, the house is clean, there is nothing that they could be?

Just a suggestion. If your refrigerator has a pan under it that catches moisture as some do . check to see that it is clean and dry.
Spirits can attract gnats or flies.
Pour hot bleach water down your drains couple times a day for a few days. if u have drip pan under fridge clean w/ bleach, clean all trash cans, but really do the drains with hot water and bleach method. May take a few days. Had a restuarant w/ that problem and I did what I just explained, problem solved.

There are several methods to go ahead to solve this problems without to use dangerous chemicals in the housing area.
They could be attracted to indoor houseplants, that are over watered the moisture seems to cause this. Look them over you can also place them outside until the soil has dried up a bit. At least until soil is no longer "wet" looking. If you want to get rid of existing fruit flys without pesticides fill a glass with any type of wine this will attract the fling parasites and they drown and die, TaaaaaaaaDaaaaaaaa!
Clean with bleach,they don't like it,also they have to be attracted to something in the house,for one thing don't leave any food out.if you have had any kids over they may have misplaced some food somewhere in the house.
