Watch your leg!
until bush is out of office it will be next to impossible.
yeah, I agree with the first person. Until we find an alternative fuel and stop protecting oil interests and protect rainforests, they will just keep disappearing.
By getting rid of bastards like George W Bush who are responsible of the destruction of the enviroment. He refused to sign the Kyoto act to protect the enviroment and is involved in the destruction of the Amazonas.
Most rainforests are cleared by chainsaws, bulldozers and fires for its timber value and then are followed by farming and ranching operations, even by world giants like Mitsubishi Corporation, Georgia Pacific, Texaco and Unocal.People who live in countries with rainforests need to understand their importance. People in other countries also need to understand how their lifestyles affect the rainforests. If not enough people know about the importance not very many are going to be interested in conserving.Co2 causes deforestation also because of fossil fuels...the more people are educated about it the better..
don't pollute resourses, try to minimize of using things w/c has a raw material that was taken from forest like paper . try to recyle.
everyone of us know what conservation is all about. In order to conserve our rainforest for future generations, we must take gud care of our beautiful rainforest. Plant more trees, coz this is good for the planet earth. do not cut the trees while this trees are too young. let them grow. When cutting the old ones make sure to replace these. Cut one and plant a hundred of trees. If we do these as a practice im sure our rainforest will be there and conserve for future generations.
we can start by using alternative resources
Plant more trees and practice sustainable consumption. To those who climb, climb responsibly.
One way to preserve or recreate forest habitats is to educate people in developing nations about, not only the environmentl aspects of forests, but also the economical ones. So long as a poor person thinks that their land is more valuable with McDonalds' meat cows roaming around on it, it will continue to be clear cut. I have an agroforestry community development project, I scribbled down a bit of what I'm doing here: http://www.myspace.com/kaihome A fully community integrated agroforestry initiative. If more projects like mine were put into practice then not only would more trees be planted, but more would be conserved for their intrinsic value to communities as well!
well buy recycled products and stay away from virgin paper products ESPECIALLY kimberly-clark products, they cut down ancient forsets just to make their kleenexes, their toilet paper and other paper products. i suggest Trader Joes tp, paper towels and kleenexes because they contain 100%recycled paper and they are better quality than kimberly clark products
In order to conserve the forests, we have to take sincere efforts to grow more trees in the forests and outside the forests. Social forestry scheme should be implemented fully.Every country must bring legislation to conserve the trees . The forest Acts should enforced strictly.
Deforestation is responsible for about 18% of CO2 increases. It is the result of world population increase demanding more building and food.
It is very irresponsible of us to blame the companies and governments for just giving us what we demand. As long as WE demand MORE - People, Roads, Houses, Power, etc., etc., the environment will suffer. The only thing that can change this trend is to stop demanding more.
It's not my rain forest, and I strongly doubt that it is yours either. Thus, it is not for us to decide what happens to it.
don't even touch the rain forest
Drink shade grown coffee! (or none at all) Provides habitat for hundreds of bird species as oppossed to drinking regular coffee which they chop down the rainforest to grow.
