Do you think people still care about Global Warming? Do you?

Reporters are saying on the newspaper and msn that Global Warming is so yesterday for America, is this true?

Answer:
Global warming is a theory at best. Never proven either way. Numbers can be deceitful. What is scarier, CO2 increase of 17% or .000054? It is true, CO2 has increased from 316ppm to 370ppm, which is an increase of 17%, or if you look at in in ppm (parts per million), then it would be .000054. But which is scarier?
It is a numbers game.
i care but alot of ppl dont care because they feel they will be dead and gone by the time it happens
Yes i think that people should care about global warming because global warming make our earth more hotter i really think that people should care more than they do less.
I certainly do. Most people do, it's just that the people who don't tend to be very loud about it. Check out how people from different countries feel in the link below.

Global warming is not just yesterday - it's also today, tomorrow, and the forseeable future. That's the unfortunate reality of the situation.
yeah I do. My sister and I were talking today and she said it worries her because when she has kids she doesn't want them to have to deal with the effects. I certainly do. I always recycle and try to do my part. Please do yours.
i definetly care. people who dont care make me angry. we are all in this boat together.
a lot of people just dont think anything is going to happen so they just dont recycle or try to lower all the bad things they do for the envirorment.
I thought concern over Global Warming was an 80's fad.

Some of us have been concerned for over 20 years...just because Al Gore introduced the problem to the kidiot generation is no reason to suddenly beleive that the media can keep focused on something they dropped as old news 20 years ago.
i think they do.. i actaully think its been very popular lately ive seen it alot . Even the Ellen show had a whole segment today ..and the whole live earth concert this weekend.
I think people are getting tired of it. It's not like the good ol' days back in May, when people REALLY cared about it.
Look, what is difficult to understand about global warming. It's very simple. Periodically we have an ice age. This is caused mainly by the relative positions of the sun and the earth. It is a repeating, cyclic event. It has happened many times before. It will happen many times again. At the end of an ice age (the position we are now in), the planet warms up, waiting for the next ice age to cool down again, It's a natural cycle. We are at the the end of an ice age. The planet WILL warm up, Get over it and deal with it.
I know that I still care about global warming. I mean it mine and my children's lives that we are talking about. I think that alot of people not thinking about global warming is not them ceasing all together... but, rather, taking the problem into small chunks. instead of working on the problem of global warming, the u.s. people are concentrating on local power concervation, specifically in their own homes until we are in the presence of a political administration that will offer larger answers.
No. Concern is increasing.

Don't judge this by a minority of very loud skeptics here. They have noise, but not numbers.
These are the same reporters that were obsessed with Paris Hilton, Jon Benet Ramsey, and the fat blond chick who died recently (can't recall her name). I wouldn't put too much stock into what the US media says, since its mostly fluff anyways.
Very few species have survived one this planet for long - relatively speaking of course - and neither will humans. Stop being so arrogant. You are a monkey with a slightly larger brain and slightly less hair - unless you're a creationist. You didn't care until someone on television told you to.
i think people care, and i know i do, but president bush is trying to ignore it like it is not a big deal. i think we should take more precaution about global warming before it advances to a pont in which there is no reverse.
People running around screaming "THE SKY IS FALLING" can't keep everybody amused forever..
Anyone here old enough to remember the threat of Acid Rain? What about the deforestation of the tropical rain forest? What about saving the swamps? What about the big recycling movement? Every 5-10 years some new global enviromentalcase cause comes along to take the place of the one that failed before it. 50 years ago scientist were convinced that we were going to cause another Ice Age, not a "warming".

It's a political tool used to sway peoples vote, you tube search "Kennedy Live Earth" he starts off talking about the enviroment then ends telling people how to vote. The dems took control of congress too early, in the next election they cannot blame Bush for the war that still ongoing, all they have to do is cut the funding (they did it once, many of the same people that are still in office now.)

It's all about politics, always has been, always will be.
I think that people are tired of the scam. Whether or not you believe that global warming exists (I do), or whether you think that man is the cause (I do not), many people are tired of Al Gore and people like him who are ABSOLUTE HYPOCRITES about it and are in it 100% for they money they are getting from it.

More and more evidence of an earth which was once warmer than it is now, and cycles deeper than we have seen recently is making people believe that there is no problem with global warming.

Myself, I agree it is warming, I think that man has little or no measureable effect on it, and that no matter whether I am right or wrong, we should be conserving our natural resources. I think that carbon credits are one of the largest scams to hit this country...EVER. I think that if you burn a lot of natural resources, throwing money at it will not make it go away in ANY way.
You need to stop watching fashion shows and start watching the news. Global Warming is not a fad.
I think its getting to become a bigger problem and you should take it serious. try these tips
