What do you think of this solution to global warming.?
I realize this is absurd, but I said it to illustrate a point: Global warming is a symptom, not the actual problem.
Answer:
Fans actually create heat through friction. They move air around, and cause us to feel cooler through the evaporative process.
And all the fuel waste from the aircraft will thin the ozone layer and allow even more heat onto the planet and the fans will fade as their carbon footprint helps to errode the layer and we all roast to death.

Fans do not create cooling, they create air circulation. If you have hot air inside and cooler air outside, you can circulate the air around and cool the inside that way. Or if you have sweat on your body, you can run air across the sweat to cool yourself down.
Your "solution" would actually create more of a problem because those aircraft and fans would require enormous amounts of energy and thus create enormous amounts of greenhouse gas emissions, making global warming even worse.
i think that there is much more things to do for the global warming.the people should find a solution soon and the scientists should think more.should be thinked more about the 2 countryes of the world because there are those countryes which indicate more worse to the global warning.i think your idea was good.

Yes, it's true that global warming is a symptom and our polluting ways is the actual problem. But what does that fan idea illustrate? No one is currently trying to solve the problems of global warming by creating global cooling. Currently, we just need to at the very least slow down the problem, so that once we get the problem under control, we can move from there. Until we can manage that, nothing will be accomplished.

I agree, global warming is a symptom of an Earth out of balance due to human activity. We can easily cause the problem, but it is not so easy to fix, since we have to reduce energy use, not increase it.
I think the only solution is to live thru it.
