Environmental issues when building?
Answer:
To answer your Q: Natural areas are divided into different categories. Ex: Business, commercial, residential, state park, ,,,,,, even federal. These areas are designated by the Federal and state land assessor. All require documentation and environmental assessments particular to there classification for anything that may or does change existing land ( ie. construction ). I would pick a perticular area and research the documents, permits, and assesments required for that area.
You absolutely have to build something from scratch? Are you sure that there is not some awesome and appropriate piece of land that's already been worked enough for you to add onto? If you are unwilling to augment a pre-existing development... I would suggest timber frame or salvaged lumber. As far as what builders need... that means tools and materials which are specific to the project. Many tools versitile and are crucial for any undertaking, but what is mostly needed to work with the earth is an ability to flow with a million considerations and compromises. Sorry to say... we're not Ewoks.
We have already overcrowded the ecological cycles and systems that we need to survive. New construction is an atrocity.
