No, it won't make a difference. Supposedly it's to "draw attention" to the global warming crisis. Anyone who is going to the concerts has already heard about global warming. One young woman said she had no plans to change her lifestyle but would if her favorite band told her to. That's not the mentality that creates long term change. The only real difference that this is going to make is in the bank accounts of a few opportunists.
Live earth was an entertainment project using the environment as a promoter.
Did you see the trash that those "environmentally conscious" pigs left behind??

By the way, I believe that global warming is cyclical and that humans have very little impact on it, but I am more environmentally conscious than those morons.
I don't believe for a minute it will result directly in a measurable improvement in the environment. Its biggest effect will be to rally the Greenshirts into further intrusion into other peoples lives. Stay tuned.
People are not getting the point of these concerts. It wasn't to change every-ones way of living. It was to make people more aware of the changes needed in this planet. It was also a statement toward all governments to get them to make changes. BUT the reason for the concerts was to make people AWARE of climate change and changes WE need to make. We are talking about it so that's a start!!!!!

No, I don't think it made a difference at all. They still had to use their cars to get to the concert, and they left garbage everywhere. It was a waste of time!
