nobody is taking action now not normal ppl, not the media, not even the government or bush care! i'm sorry but i don't wanna die an early death! it seems like al gore is the only one who cares...he should run for president next....ppl are more interested about getting iPods or the $5,000 gucci purse jLo bought (well at least vh1)

anybody with me?

Answer:
We're not going to die.

And Gucci purses aren't 5,000 dollars. They're only like,400.
One thing I can assure you...

We are all going to die.

What role climate change had in that death is pure speculation but I would say the probability of climate change thus affection you is close to nil.
I am with you! I think that Global Warming is getting worse and worse everyday! And its so messed up how people and the media seem to be more alert about retarded stuff like ipods and stuff liek that. But at the same time my English teacher was also talking 2 us about how hundred years ago everybody was worried about the earth freezing and now about global warming. So he pretty much thinks its just liek a cycle thing, that everything is gonna be alright. But even though, everyone should be alert about this.
We're not all going to die because of global warming. It will make our lives much more difficult if we don't take steps to minimize its effects, but relatively few people will die as a direct consequence of global warming.
If you live in a rich country you won't die. But, if we do nothing, the economic effects of dealing with unmitigated global warming will surely make you poorer.

In poor countries already struggling to feed themselves, some people (not all) will die of starvation.
No, they'll have been living their lives working through real problems, enjoying all the wonderful things in life. Meanwhile, you'll have worried yourself to a mere shell of a human being, with an ever weakening grip on sanity.

And then...

if the world becomes unlivable, then someone will be able to say, "oh well, I had a good time while it lasted." And you will say, "oh well, death can't be any worse than this hell I've put myself through for the last 40 years."

if the "warming" never materializes, then someone will be able to say, "thank goodness I didn't fall for that con job." And you will say, "Crud! My life has been an absolute waste."
Yes!! The good professor Al Gore said so!! I hope the due-due hits the fan. My '72 Nova is ready! All I need to do is attach the Mg. 42s, adjust the flame throwers, and affix the giggle gas tank! nm

Could you explain to me why the good professor Al Gore, a man that knows more about planets than Copernicus, sat in the White House for 8 years, drinking mint juleps, and did not do a thing to stop the production of SUVs? As a matter of fact he bought a few for himself and one for Tipper. Of course, they*needed* those vehicles to transport their son to his pharmaceutical study group. ehhh.
OH MY GOSH!!!
Of course Al Gore is the only person concerned about it, he is the person that MADE IT UP!
It is people like you that Gore is stealing money from with his ideas. Bleeding heart and all.
I am not with you, the Earth is going through a cycle. Like the ice age, and many other things. Science has come out to prove that Global warming is fake. Look it up. You will be suprised at how gullible you are.
No we are okay. Climate change has been going on long before Al Gore or anybody else tried to claim they could stop it. It's been hotter before and much colder.
You are crying for your mommy right now.
PEOPLE GET A GRIP.

You are not going to die.

Scientists estimate that IF (if means on the condition that) the Earth continues to warm, it could warm a whole degree in 100 years.

A whole degree. On average. 100 years.

Uh oh! It's 93 degrees instead of 92! Everything is going extinct!

The Earth has been a LOT hotter than this before and supported a rich ecosystem. Did anyone ever hear of the dinosaurs? Cold-blooded creatures that lived in jungles that covered most of the Earth? Ring a bell?

What WILL cause massive extinctions is if the Earth gets colder. It would have to get a lot hotter to cause mass extinctions.

By the way, it is normal and expected for species to become extinct every single year.

There are more kinds of species than we are even aware of, and it is a natural process that they thrive and die. Did you know that animals went extinct before humans ever arrived?

You cannot stop extinction. Nor can you stop the Earth from getting hotter or colder, nor should you try.

It happens by itself. Those are facts. Can't stop the sun from shining, the trees from burning, volcanoes from erupting, continents from shifting and releasing more gasses, nor can you stop the Earth from spinning.

Environmentalists have caused almost as much damage to the environment as they have prevented.

They tried to prevent forest fires from happening. Well it turns out that forest fires are natural. And if the forest doesn't burn down every once in a while, when it finally does burn, it burns so hot that it makes the soil sterile. Nothing grows there again for a long time.

They went after DDT, which is about as lethal as the flouride in your toothpaste. Now millions of Africans are dying of Malaria due to the mosquitoes DDT was supposed to kill.
The makers of DDT ate spoonfuls of the stuff and did not die of DDT poisoning.

Global warming is another example of this. The Earth will warm and cool on it's own.

Sure, go ahead and stop pollution. Don't get me wrong, I am all about that. But CO2 is a NECESSARY and life-giving gas. Plants need it to survive. We need plants to survive. And if the population of the Earth is increasing, we need more plants to survive, not less. Which means we more CO2 to support our population, not less.
I doubt that all humans shall die.
Our fear of global warming might kill everybody in the end, though..
The earth can adapt.
We can adapt.
Enough said.
--In answer to your other question ( What year we will all die ) 2012 , most ancient calendars ended on this day
curious, hm?
The long-range effects of global warming are uncertain.

Even if you are a teen at present, it is very unlikely you will die from the effects of global warming.

The long-term story for humanity is a different picture---if the pessimistic scenarios hold, then the Earth may be nearly uninhabitable in a few thousand years, with temperatures that are 30 to 50 C higher. Even so, not all humans will die. There will be a mass extinction of most species. After 100,000 years or so, it will be all over and we'll be back to more natural tempertures. Life, and probably humankind, will survive.
No we are not all going to die God will put a stop to it before he lets all his creations die . Just keep the faith and chill
Nope not us not even are grand kids, but it is possible that on the current track we are following, our great grand kids could be that last generation. The ones that are the real cause never have to face the real cost, you only have to look at current events to see that is always true.. The trouble is that a 1 degree temperature change does not meet one degree every day but an average of one degree for the year over the planet, Poles included. This means that the hottest day can be much hotter 10 hotter degree could be the new high normal range. Think of the middle west USA with temps like Baghdad, and you have an idea of what a 1 increase in Global temp means. I know most people can not get their mind around the idea, think of it this way the energy needed to increase the global temperature by one degree would be able to turn all the water in the great lake into team with out a bet of trouble.
No, I don't think so.
i think we will die sooner from the nuclear bombs iran and korea want to shoot at us than from global warming. do you have any idea how many other things are more likely to kill us? there is the flu epidemic that is past due, the asteroids that could hit us, our own inconsiderate ways and oh yeah those pesky bombs. i am not worried about global warming being the grand exterminator. it is cause for concern but not panic.
Yup, so everyone's going to die.

And yes, I am somewhat more interested in the gucci purse you mentioned earlier...

OH, and to answer your question, according to reports, we're all going to die in 2012. Yup.
wer not gonna die, but our childrens,or childrens children may, i laugh when people dont "believe in gloal warmng" what a bunch of iggnorant people its in their face to, its getting warmer slowly but surely
I just read about this website on the Wall Street Journal: Carbon Diet Plan. It is an application that can put us on a 'carbon diet'. As an individual and friends, we can make an impact on global warming 1 lb at a time.

http://www.CarbonDietPlan.com
No . I would not trust Al Gore any further than I could throw him..Who was recording those temps millions of years ago , that Gore quotes ? Just 5 short months ago , a bone-chilling cold wave with temperatures as low as 42 below , was paralyzing the the northern Plain states . Grand Forks,ND was 31 below zero . Hayward , WI. was 27 below zero . Schools had to close . Amtrak shut down it's service . There has always been climate change ; and there always will be . This is just another trick going around to control people's lives & tax to the max . * Environmentalists are not always doing the best thing for human beings .
of course
You really should seek medical attention, I hope you do not drive, or use any equipment, it is apparent you have serious mental issues. Please stay off the Internet, and do your part to stop global warming by stopping your production of co2, you can do this by filtering your breathing through water, Try the bathtub, it should work fine.
Let's put it this way. We will all die from something. Life life at its fullest.
Where did you get the idea that everyone is going to die? Even in his movie Al Gore didn't say everyone would die. There have been "end of the earth" warnings, fads, and scams for as long as there has been some sort of profit to made with it. If you think global warming is going to kill you, why don't you go hide from it, and take Al Gore with you.
