Al Gore has done more to single-handedly line his pockets off the global warming scare than he has to end global warming. Only the herd mentality really believe we can change global warming anyway, not that we shouldn't live green, but to think we can hit the brakes and halt global warming is ludicrous.
I don't know if your question is serious or not. Al Gore has done more to single-handedly 'save the planet' than probably any other person throughout history. But everyone needs to heed the word. The changes are coming fast with great devastation. I just saw that the rise in temp is causing the coral reef to die, which many fish rely on.
I live in Ohio where we are more than 5" below the normal rainfall; everyones grass is turning brown. Corn will be expensive this year along with other Ohio grown crops.
The whole US is experiencing the same drought and heat waves. They are now cautioning about black-outs due to everyone running their AC.
I used to look forward to summer, but now dislike it as it's so hot that I find myself indoors MORE than I do in the winter.
Robins sit near sprinklers when they can find them running as water brings worms more to the surface. At least at humans, we can retreat to our AC houses and cars for comfort, but what about the fish, birds, and animals?
AL GORE is taking over the world. He also has super powers. He can fly, has xray vision and can time travel. He is going to fly around the earth and cause it to rotate backward so he can go back in time and stop global warming.

Who cares about Al Gore, we have a problem and we have solutions... why sit back and slang **** at Al Gore, and really who cares if he's a media whore and profiteering off of this problem given there's plenty of others guilty of about the same from all sides and shades of politics, when the problem still needs fixing!

am not sure what you mean by "taking so long"...this is going to last many years and we haven't seen the worst of it yet.
