How can we conserve endangered crocodiles?
Answer:
Do you mean conserve or protect?
Conserve would mean to prevent them from being overused, so I am presuming the latter.
Make sure they are populated into sanctuaries that can accomodate them. I'm not sure if you are referring to any specific type of crocodile, but the ones that live on the Kennedy Space Center grounds appear to be protected.
We should eat 'em...
Their skins make beautiful hand bags, purses and shoes, and last for years..
integrated conservation, which includes habitat protection, captive breeding programs and public awareness.
a species needs food, water, shelter, and other member of its species to survive. all that is provided by its habitat. if the habitat's protected, the species has a greater chance of survival cause habitat protection means that all the species within it is also protected.
captive breeding can increase a species' chance for survival by providing a population for future reintroduction, if necessary. captive breeding also means croc farms for exploited species, whether its for meat or skin, and the crocs arent taken from the wild. simply forcing everyone to stop wearing croc skin bags isnt the answer, cause responsible and sustainable use is also a part of conservation.
public awareness is also key. through conservation education, you can introduce crocodiles to the public so that they can see that crocs are not so scary. its so rewarding to see the change of their impressions, those who thought that reptiles are frightening and then see the diversity of reptiles and become awed, even interested in the animals.
Why should we? They are known to crawl out of their habitat and attack / eat humans and on occasion babies, small children and family pets!
A cull should be raised to clear all the USA swamplands and regain the land for drainage and later devolpment for human / industrial habitation
The people who where and eat alot of crocidiles (sorry for misspelling) are killing them we need to stop the killing for sport and screwing up their land they have just enough right to live on like we do
