Live earth?
Answer:
I think the concert was a good idea. Sometimes you have to do things like this to call attention to the problem. Global warming is real and we all have to do something about it.
I think the organizers should have given more consideration to who they were inviting to perform. I think that it's sad that some of them actually took private jets to the event. What were they thinking? Also, we all know that Al Gore talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.
There are some celebrities out there who are environmentally friendly but I think most (not all) of the ones involved in Live Earth were questionable at best. I think a lot of them were just there to be seen and promote their music.
I really hope that people don't think that global warming is a joke because of the actions of a few self-absorbed people.
If it gets them face time and publicity sure they care.
Live Earth aint gonna do dick for the economy.
I hope it woke America up, being a Celebrity dosen't mean they are useful, knowledgeable or good examples as citizens. They don't actually live in the real world and the best celebrity is the ones who do their jobs (Entertain the People) and keep their opinions to themselves. Leave science to scientists and lying to Politians, they are professionals at it.
