I believe so. What you are talking about could be considered arson and it also could result in lose off life and property, as well as the cost to the community to extinguish the fire.
I am anti-mandatory sentences.
I think that they should get some kind of prison sentence for destroying hundreds of homes. All the destruction and frustration with fighting a fire like that also needs to be taken account for.
Hey, didn't that runaway bride a while back whom said she was kidnapped get community service and have to pay a fine for all the trouble she caused? Why shouldn't people who start massive brush fires and destroy other peoples lives, or even kill other people get off with nothing?
Why don't you go think about that before thinking about whether someone should be put in jail madatorily...
