Green or blue?

to me...green. it is my favorite color.
the most soothing thing to me is seeing tons of green plants...but that combined with a beautiful blue sky is the most 'soothing' color combo ever!

Blue is calming, but green is my preference.
Much depends upon the colour intensity of either but both can be considered psychologically soothing, at the right hue or intensity.
I think that is a totally personal choice. We're all different with different feelings. Some people might think that blue is calming, but might have bad memories concerning green, so they'd pick blue. (Some people love tan pants, I hate them so much!) I'm a blue girl myself. I find blue to be very calming...but then, so is green! My entire home is done in dark blue, hunter green and burgundy. Very warm collection...very soothing and comforting. Give that group of colors a try!

blue, if you're painting a wall you should have a yellow sun and green grass and blue backgrounds and cute pink or red flowers on the grass and a brown puppie and a black kitten or white kitten. just an idea. :D
depends really, we debated this question for awhile here. my oldest says green, understandable as that is her favorite color. my youngest and I say blue as this is our favorite color and the wife says you should have included lavender. oh well sorry we are no help for you.

Blue water and sky are very soothing.
Green grass and plants are very soothing.
However, when I see green walls, they remind me of schools and hospitals (which were frequently painted that color) when I was young, thus I don't find them very soothing.
