Live Earth Concerts were great but should we support the global warming hoax.?
Answer:
The earth is warming.there is no debate about that.the only debate is the cause.
Whether or not you agree with either side of the debate doesn't matter.
If you use eco-friendly products, you help our nation save energy, reduce our reliance on petroleum.and you save money at the same time. So really there is no reason to NOT participate, simply because you don't believe in global warming.
You believe in high gas prices don't you ?..of course you do, because you see the pump price every day.by going green you can help keep those prices stable. Every little bit helps. If everyone does a little, it adds up to a whole lot.
Its no hoax, you will see when pangea starts moving again all at the same time to balance itself out once again. If you think earthquakes are bad, wait till you see this!

Coastal flooding is not going to be the problem, we can deal with that. Just ask the dinosaur's
we should support his environmentalism rather than his son's doping..
While i dont think global warming is a hoax, think of the amount of power required to run all that equipment. I dont think they used solar or wind. Sort of an oximoron to try and save the planet by using vast amounts of energy.
Global warming is a natural climate change or adjustment or whatever you wish to call it. It has nothing to do with mans activities so man cannot stop it. I'm all for cleaner and more efficient ways to do things as long as thy are feasible, but as for global warming, people are wasting their time
Even if you are not convinced that human activity contributes to climate change surely you can find some common ground with those who do.
Energy independence is one area where the eco-warriors and the deniers can usually agree. Reducing fuel consumption and using alternative fuels not only reduces greenhouse gas output but also reduces reliance on foreign oil. This means less oil money being funneled to Al Qaeda and less reliance on OPEC and Hugo Chavez.
Another area where I think we all can agree is personal finance. Turning off electronic devices when not in use, adjusting the thermostat in your home by a few degrees and buying energy efficient applicances/car the next time you need to purchase one means you will be spending less on energy. Take some cans down to your local recycling center and get paid for them, there's some extra cash for your pocket.
Are you blind!
Climate change is all around you. Desserts are expanding at rates never before seen. Arigable lands continue to dwindle at an alarming rate. Storms are of ever-increasing furiousity. Floods are commonplace in regions that used to experience moderate rains. Arctic tundra is shrinking daily, Perma- frost is melting annually. Deforrestation of the tropics continues unabated. Species are vanishing at rates far too fast for us to catalog.
What type of planet would you rather pass on to your children and grand-children?
...one where bio-diversity is thriving and celebrated on a planet that sustains the needs of all inhabitants?
or
... one where the only "wild life" will be humans, cockroaches, and rats? (the rest will be neatly tucked away into islands of artificial zoos and museums)
Get with the program. Write your congressmen and tell them that you intend to vote "green" not "machine".
Refuse to send robots to Washington!
Global warming, climate change -- not a hoax, and it's almost hard to believe intelligent people can still choose to believe that.
The discussion now revolves on how much we can do and how quickly we can do it, to mitigate the damage to the planet from human impacts that is accelerating a natural cycle to the degree that life cannot adapt and evolve.
Ultimately, we're talking about the survival of the planet as we know it. Swallow your pride and start getting your information from more neutral sources and become part of the solution.
