Pendle Hill near Burnley (UK) has a good reputation of being haunted by the Pendle Witches.
There is no such thing as a "haunted" place
My old house is a good place to start.. It must have been built on ley lines!..

Tower London. Westminster Abby is rumored to be haunted as well. Not to mention a slew of pubs and inns. I would Google your question and see what you come up with.
Edinburgh and the undercity there.
Go to any Castle, Stately Home, Battlefield. They'll all say they are Haunted. Best Castle I've been to, Berry Pomeroy in Devon. I would like to visit Chingle Hall in Preston. Dear Sarah, no I'm not. It's a shame that it's in Private Hands.

There said to be a whole legion of Roman soldiers marching there, the most haunted pub has a beautiful girl staring into a fireplace, in fact amost every pub reckons it has a ghost.
There are organised ghost walks.
Even if you don't meet up with a ghost, it's a lovely City to visit and you can stock up on your Lakeland goodies!
