How to test purity of water?
to check the bacteria and other pollutants in pond water.
Answer:
Put some goldfish in, if they survive good news. If algae grows that is good. Put some in a bottle, cap it, if gas forms-bubbles- could be bad. Aerate the pond with a waterfall or fountain. Filter it through a grass field if you can. pH test kits, nitrogen tests, culture the water on agar plate, see what grows. Analyze it through a lab, costs more.
Drink it. If you die, then you can be pretty sure that it was not pure.
