New Zealand's climate?
Answer:
New Zealand is quite a big country, and stretches about 1,000 miles north to south. That means it has different areas with different climates. It rains an awful lot on the west coast of the South Island, but there are areas that are more or less deserts on the other side of the mountains.
It snows regularly in the mountains, and there are areas of permanent snow and ice. There are occasional winter snowfalls in most of the major cities. I haven't ever heard of snow in Auckland, but it may have happened in the past.
