Sure we would, as soon as you retire from the Senate and an 8 year stint in the White House as Vice President. You can't just be a blowhard who utterly ignores real science without first being a celebrity. You see, the book-writing and grant-writing scams are most lucrative when you are a public figure. No one is going to pay you $55,000 to give a speech to children about poverty. Yet John Edwards can pull down that amount to do so. Forget about substance and truth, just become a public figure and you can lie, and get paid for it, to your heart's content!
Though I haven't seen Al Gore's movie, depending on the previews I might watch your movie.
That kind of movie has already been done, more than once. Most memorable version: The Day After Tomorrow. No, I did not see "An Inconvenient Truth" but I do not blindly follow anything. Still, movies that predict a difficult future are always important to watch-- they make us think and consider how to prepare for the worst and to always count our blessings in the present.
Too many people jumping on THAT band-wagon. Especially Al Gore.

I am not following no ones crap blindly, stuff might trigger me to research and look deeply into certain matters that eventually will help me as an individual and therefore the environment or what ever cause for that matter.
If its good enough i may.
since i haven't watch Al Gore's movie, the chances of me blindly following it or your movie would be pretty slim.
but if you pack it full of scientific thought based on the disciplines of:
Microbiology
Virology
Geology
Biology
Climatology
atmospheric chemistry/physics
entemology
general chemistry and physics
i may check it out.
so what environmental cause do you plan to donate all of the profit from your movie to, like Al Gore did?
You would need to spin the information as a call to arms for environmentalists to rally around. Given the next ice age will cause the demise of so many species currently on the endangered species list, your platform could be to build more preserves towards the equator for non-native species. Or you could just yell we need to find a way to stop global cooling...we could try triggering volcanic activity...charge a cigarette tax for everyone who DOESN'T light up (after all, they're hurting the environment by not doing their part).
