I agree when it comes to the environment, nuclear power plants do far more damage than cigarettes, but they are slowly being banned everywhere to protect innocent people's lungs.

Smoking cigarettes creates a variety of environmental problems. The effect is has on humans and pets is probably the most detrimental because of the toxins in the smoke. The smoke can discolor anything it comes into contact with and also leaves a foul odor. Cars and homes of smokers can become devalued because of the smell.
