Is there legislation or advice for office workers in the UK who have to work in extreme heat?

No air conditioning. windows open just a little. Large open plan office carpeted with many PCs. Small fans provided, but not effective in extreme heat.

Answer:
Get a thermometer and then go to the Health and Safety Executive website, there is a law to say you can't work in a place above a certain temp, but don't know off hand what it is. HSE will tell you.
Where are you in the UK that has extreme heat?

If it goes over a certain temp then you dont have to work.
No is the honest answer, as there is no maximum temperature for work. If there was most bakeries and foundys would have to close.

Sorry
Why worry about it at the moment, it's not like we're going to get any extreme heat this year!
