Global warming -.- ?

okay the world is going through changes. true.

humans causing this? no.

the world is constantly changing. do yall not understand that?

have you never heard of the ice age? yea look, the earth heated, and no more ice age. way before modern technology was around.

global warming is not influenced by humans THAT much...

dont believe the lies

Answer:
I agree. Stop fussing over **** that's gonna happen anyway.
yes global warming is a natural process but humans are increasing it's affects (or speeding it up I forget which) so your right and wrong
ok look at thiswhat humans are doing it speeding the process alot faster then it would if we didnt do so much. how is it that we can dump so much co2 with out it being exchanged to be o2 then think about how many trees are being cut down so all the co2 in the atmostphere is changing so ot=s climate.
ma dear. it tis true the earth goes through changes. but are you really that naive to think that toxins distributed by our man made machines do not burn a hole through the o-zone layer. I do believe that humans are effecting it "that much".
EVERYONE WATCH THIS VIDEO!

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=...
The Great Global Warming Swindle

It will explain it all for you. BBC produced this documentary that kills all of the Global Warming alarmists' arguments.

By the way, Solar Scientists are actually predicting that the sun will cool off a little in the next couple of decades. The polar ice caps are also getting thicker as well. I would like to hear Gore explain that one. I'd also like to hear when liberals are going to start plugging up volcanoes, too. One volcano emits more CO2 than all of the pollution that man-made machines and farting cows emit combined.

But seriously, watch the video.
People who say we don't contribute are just looking for excuses to carry on the way they are.
I don't think so... Humans are contributing a whole lot to it... It's one thing that nature is in the process of givin out a whole bunch of green house gases on its own, but it's not like we're not to blame at all. Burning fossil fuels, cutting trees down, not allowing CO2 to get decreased...... Not exactly acts of nature, eh?

Regardless of who says what or who is to blame, I guess it's more important to try and stop the process before it is too late...
right on chris! i often wonder also why these libs think humans lie outside of nature? i also think they've watched way to many movies, as if morgan freeman and bruce willis are gonna save us. and you know, the sun could go out at any moment and these people would blame it on george bush! they would also think there would be some means at our disposal to stop it.
There have been natural changes before. But scientists have proven that the present change is not natural.

The scientific data clearly shows that, starting about 40 years ago, Man took control over climate away from nature.

We need to give it back.

Denying global warming is the lie. The swindle video is garbage.

"A Channel 4 documentary claimed that climate change was a conspiratorial lie. But an analysis of the evidence it used shows the film was riddled with distortions and errors."

Gore's movie may be a little over dramatic, but it has the basic science right. This movie does not.

Channel 4 itself undercuts the movie in a funny way. If you go to their website on the movie you find links to real global warming information. They also have a way to "Ask the Expert" about global warming. The questions go to a respected mainstream scientist who supports (mostly) human responsibility for global warming.

So, why did Channel 4 broadcast it?

"The science might be bunkum, the research discredited. But all that counts for Channel 4 is generating controversy."

and what day of the week did you create the planet on?

Its all fine and dandy if you want to live in denial of anthropogenic causes of global warming, but don't use your denial of one possible reality, to deny the necessity of reducing pollution to reverse other damaging effects on the environment.
So your question is 'here's my opinion based on no scientific information, don't you understand that?'? Yes, I understand that this is your uniformed opinion. Here is scientific fact:

We know from ice core samples that historically when global warming occurred, atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations also increased, but not until about 800 years later.

http://www.daviesand.com/choices/precaut...

Many global warming deniers think this is evidence that CO2 can’t cause global warming. In fact, that’s the very first argument in the terrible Great Global Warming Swindle. On the contrary, this is actually evidence that human greenhouse gas emissions are currently causing global warming. Compare the following global temperature and atmospheric CO2 concentration plots from 1960-Present:

http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk/cru/info/warmin...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/image:mauna...

As you can see they’re both rising – not with an 800 year delay, but at the same time. If CO2 wasn’t causing global warming as was the case in the past, then why is there no 800 year delay?

This only proves a correlation between CO2 and global warming and not a causality. The reason we’ve concluded that greenhouse gas emissions are causing global warming (or more accurately, accelerating it) is because natural causes can’t account for the increase in global warming over the past 40-50 years. They account for most of the warming prior to that, but climate models have determined that greenhouse gases are responsible for about 80-90% of the recent global warming:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/image:clima...

The very first inputs into climate models were solar, volcanic, and sunspot contributions, but they simply couldn’t account for the recent acceleration in global warming. Thus climate scientists have concluded that humans are the primary cause.
you are so wrong Humans are causing deserts all over the place ,with agressive farming ,over grazing and deforestation
go to chiapas see the land slides cause by deforesting the steep mountains to plant corn for their familes of 15 kids +

Alright one level headed person here.
The changes that are happening are at a very excellerated rate. Much more so than in the past and there is clear evidence that humans are causing this excelleration. Here is a good example of one major reason for global warming that is usually not mentioned.
The raising of cattle for beef consumption causes more global warming than all of the cars exhaust on this planet. It starts with thousands of sq. miles of tropical rainforest being cut down and burned to raise much of the cattle. Then the amount of methane gas(a global warming gas) that is expelled by cattle. 100 million tons of methane gas a year is expelled by cattle just in the U.S. alone. The amount of water to raise these cattle is beyond belief also. It takes about 20 acres of land a year to supply the protein a person needs by eating beef and over 2500 gallons of water. For a vegetarian it takes 1 acre of land to supply the protein they need for one year and about 40 gallons of water. Stop eating beef and you will be doing more to stop global warming than many other opitions.
