global warming itself is not a scam...it is a natural process,
but what we are doing to the planet is making it happen faster and more extreme...company's corporations and governments do more damage than us but we need to make them realise that we the people care for this planet and don't want it to die, we can still help by reducing the mess we make...get active in your area and petition lobby and protest to your mps an governments that we clean the planet up, have you seen the state of our rivers and streams i remember going for a swim in clean fresh water now its hot and murky with no life in it...we need to change...but we don't need to robbed by our powers that be for their mistakes. they took our taxes messed it up and now expect us to pay for them to carry-on they way they all ways have and will if we don't make them see that there is more of us all over the world and they work for us...WE ARE THE PEOPLE PEOPLE...you have power use it...join forces for the common good, drop all the religionism, racisitsism, we are all brothers and sisters lets stand up for the first time all as one and take the power back
Pretty much every climate scientist in the world believes that global warming is real AND that it is caused by our greenhouse gas emissions.
The reason that we still use the factories, vehicles and power plants that emit greenhouse gases is because they're less expensive. It's unfortunate that new cleaner technologies are more expensive, but it's absolutely not true that global warming is just a scam to sell more of those technologies.
Then again, any real environmentalist will tell you that the easiest way to reduce your emissions is by using less energy, which is of course less expensive. So ride your bike to work, turn your lights off, unplug that extra fridge full of soda in the garage, etc.
That's just a spin off scam. The main scam will be TAX. The main reason for all of the hype is so the Environmentalists can get funding for so called research.
Example: The nut jobs who recently published their research about the levels of CO2 coming out of a cows a.rse! I call them nut jobs, but the real nut jobs are whoever signed the cheque.
When you die through ignorance and cynicism don't blame me! It's a shame that the rest of us have to also die to make the point. This is where the national and international leaders have to take the lead, 90% of the world scientist cannot be wrong. However, the greed of America and the understandable reluctance of major developing nations to control carbon emissions is understandable.
But, I tell you something it is up to all of us to educate our peers and also governments. For a start its not global warming, it's climate change, some places will get colder but the major problem is the rising levels of sea levels. It is a complex subject and I wouldn't even try to educate you, no personal insult intended.
Right, lets dismiss one of your major concerns that it will cost you money, if you reduce your carbon footprint will save you money. Yes, get off your fat **** and walk it will make you fitter, Turn off unnecessary lights, don't have appliance plugged in and on standby. Use energy saving light bulbs, you will be amazed how much you save.
Use public transport, the more people that use the better it will get, and the more subsidy that the operators will get . Walk you kids to school they will learn a lot more, and you can prime their interest on the way there. Join or form car sharing clubs to get to work, or to do the school run, you will probably make new friends as well.
Just imagine if you turn your thermostat down -1C you will save like 10% on your heating bill, and guess what you will not even notice the difference.

Fight back like I do! Compact flourescent bulbs may cost more, but I save money in the long run. Better yet, turn the light off if not needed and save even more money. When I needed a new vehicle I bought one that gets good mileage and save on gas money. I save even more when I bike or walk. Only the morons buy more expensive items when trying to "save the planet"; they should just buy less instead. The more I learn and try to save the planet, the more money I save.

Archeologist have told us for years that we have had periods of ice ages meltdowns and then ice ages etc.At the time of these phenominons there was no people aaround to cause it so is it possible that we are going through natural change albeit being helped by man.A lot of people are making millions from this debate playing on peoples fears and will continue doing so for years to come.Even environmentalists are doing it.If you look at most of the environmental groups operating WHO pays their salaries where do they get the money for salaries because unless they are all super rich and have no need to work as most of the rest of us do because I don't know They tell us we should stop this stop that and live as our ancestors lived yet how many do we see flying of to distant lands to environmental meetings .Governments are increasing taxes to suposedly combat global warming yet they are still constructing neuclear weponrey even though we have enough capabillity to destroy the world many time over and tell us it's in the interest of peace.How are the supposed energy saving devices manufactured,in factories using more energy.Dosn't it seem strange that these are the people who are predicting the end of the world yet still doing what they tell us is bad for us.I have worked overseas for many years mostly in what are termed third world countries and have seen not just environmentalists but so called humanitarians using 7 litre 4 wheel drive vehicules in areas where I drive a modest 1.3 ltr rear wheel drive car and been in most of the areas they say that a normal vehicule can't reach.It is a scam and not just on the environmental scene but as I say peoples emotions and fears are another persons bank balance
