What kind of lawn mower do you use?

Gas?
Electric?
Push mower?
Riding mower?

Which one do you feel is the most practical for you, and which one is the best for the environment?

Answer:
I bought a house out in the country a few years ago and let the grass grow. It is like a meadow now. Why have short grass when you can look out the window and watch the deer and rabbits?
Gas and a power assisted push mower. Lot is about half an acre. Electric just isn't practical for any size of lot.
The most practical is a pegged goat ,and
does the lawn mower give milk?

We dont have a lawn ,
that is for rich exstravagant Americans

but got a garden full of banana, papaya, coconut ,guaƱabana ,sugar cane ,vanilla,
nanchis,mangos,edable vines,and some flowers

Many squirrels,20 species of birds, one wild boar, 2 rabbits ,3 baby crocodiles,2 pythons

5 small ponds with fish and turtles

And pathways between all of that ,and a bar and a big eating place ,as well as a classroom out of the rain.for meetings

do you have a cow or a goat to eat the lawn
what do you use it for ??
is it very productive ??
is it worth the water you give it ??

just wondering
none
I live in an apartment, so no lawn. Eventually I plan to plant massive gardens, use non- grass landscaping, and in the event of any trimming that can't be done by goats...

maybe settling for an electric lawnmower. Each Gas lawn mower puts as much air pollution into the environment at 10 cars. Not something I want to be walking behind breathing for upwards of an hour.
One that uses lots of gas and burns oil.
I support the hard working men and women that are employed in the oil industry.
Gas powered Ex-Mark. It's practical for us because it cuts my husband's mowing time by appx 75%. Probably not the best for the environment though.
gas torro or honda 6.5 hp
I'm on my THIRD- non motorized push mower. It's the "Greenest", Quietest, and LEAST polluting lawnmower on the market. It's ALSO the least expensive; the safest to use AND -one of the BEST "exercise machines" on the market! It simply CAN'T be beat! :)
Geese are best for keeping a lawn short if you really really must. Most of ours is meadow now, except the front law, which the B****** council cut when they cut the verges.

Geese are also great intruder alarms. Fend for themselves and they fertilize your land as they move about. Geese produce lots and lots of eggs and poo.
get a green lawn mower
Gas mower may do for convinience and practicability sake but electric is more environmental friendly.
I have a gardener and it works really good for.I'm old, tired and live alone.3 good reasons, plus the price is right. They are the way to go in a city, quick, efficient, and no repair costs.
push mower is what I use
