Will global warming lead to global freezing? It did before. will it happen again ?
Answer:
It is more likely that solar activity changes led to the previous warming and cooling cycles.
We had a short duration cooling in the 1970's. with ever increasing pollution output.
How could the earth have COOLED if we were at peak levels of CFC's being released and increasing CO + CO2 production? That's exactly opposed to the results predicted by CURRENT global warming theory.
We had a period of reduced solar activity when we had the cooling.
We now have increased solar activity... and we have warming.
Its strange how increased energy input from the sun corresponded with increased temperature and decreased energy input from the sun corresponded with decreased temperature.
Maybe they are related...
*t has also been shown that increased global temperature could be leading to the increased CO2 content of the atmosphere. There's several effects of increased temperature that cause CO2 to be released. Melting ice releases that trapped CO2 that global warming alarmists are trying to measure (and call the cause of climate change... ) Higher temperature accelerates decomposition of dead vegetation... which releases CO2.
We are MORE LIKELY to be going through the current warming due to solar output and other NATURAL effects than from man's puny effects. Automotive CO2 contribution is what keeps getting publicized as being so awful... but its far less than 1% of the total CO2 produced on the planet...
both global warming and cooling kill its a cycle
the reason most people are getting more concern now is because were warmer than would should be in the cycle between ice ages, yes there will be global cooling again theres no reason why there wouldnt be its happened before and will happen again, we need to worry about the area we can change not the area we have no control over.
I hear the hate train pulling in from the envor-mental-ists
i dont think it will happen again. the diff with this world is that its growing, and we havent been too responsible in the care taking part cuz it just seems like the world doesnt need us to maintain it. yes and no. yes cuz of obvious reasons, and no cuz with all the unnatural manufactured products, we are depleeting the very earth that seems to be responsible for our lives.
NO , AND NO. AND, no, it didn't before.. Politically inspired people who wish to overwhelm you with fear to control you will , however always be arround. You just need to get a grip...
Some scientists hypothesize that ice age glaciation in the northern hemisphere requires a "free" Arctic sea (ie, ice cap melted). An interesting hypothesis to say the least. I suppose moist air from the capless pole could produce something akin to lake-effect snow on the northern land masses, only on a tremendously larger scale.
That could happen. But it's not anything we should pay any attention to, for several reasons.
Ice Ages occur many thousands of years apart. It is unlikely one will come along before our civilization is very different, with very different capabilities we can't dream of now.
Until we stop man made global warming (which will take many years), the natural forces that create ice ages are unlikely to overcome what we've done with greenhouse gases.
So it's just a theoretical possibility for the very distant future.
By the way, current global warming theory explains the pause in warming (not a cooling) 1950-1970 very well. Otherwise scientists would have little confidence in it.

The Sun is measured all the time. Increased solar radiation does not explain 90% of the current warming. See the above graph and:

yes cycle of the earth.
In my opinion, it will happen again.
The earth will go through it's natural routeens in order to keep itself running, just like us humans do.
For example, when we get infection building up inside of us, we get the flu...it's not very good, but at the same time, it's just the bodies way of getting rid of infection so it can function again once it is well. With the earth, there are so many toxins floating around in this air, which are some of the reason why Global Warming is happening. It will heat up, in order to melt the ice from the Arctic and the Antarctic, to cool down the air and gradually start freezing over. That will help to purify the air. Once it's finished freezing, it will start to melt again. Leaving the air, and the land fresh, and ready to start it's cycle all over again.
Everything has a natural routeen, and so does the planet.
Historically, we are overdue for an ice age.
there is a chance that there could be another ice age because of global warming in which the glaciers would kill us all because there would be no way to get food. water, alright, food, out of the question, cold has a chance of killing us, and that's IF we escape the glacier.
