Can anyone prove a majority of the British think global warming is not real? Bad info being circulated?
The "poll" they cite was simply an online survey on a publisher's website. It doesn't say anything about the "British public", only about a few people who happened to get to the site and click a button. Any online hacker could make such a survey say anything they wanted it to, anyway. It wasn't even a real survey, but a fake intended to sell a brochure about global warming. (Which is pretty good, setting out the scientific evidence proving man made global warming is real.)

Actual scientific polls of the British public say a majority think global warming is real, man made, and a serious problem. One good example:

Answer:
Yeah I didn't believe those claims that the majority if Britains are global warming deniers. Even the majority of Americans believe global warming is a serious issue, and the UK along with essentially all of Europe is ahead of the USA on this issue. I'm not the least bit surprised that this poll was bogus.
there is no way that global warming is NOT REAL. how can they think that?! i mean, look at the ice bergs that have been here for over 1000 years! they are breaking apart!
I would guess that the majority think it is real and since GW is a political subject and most British are left of center, they are more susceptible to the political left's agenda known as GW.
Never it is no global warming. It's still going on.
Perhaps you should have ask if we believe that we are influencing global change, after all, it has been happening since the last ice age.
In Europe (british included), Japan and most developed countries, climate change is not related to right - left parties.
Right-wings such as Merkel (Germany) or Sarkozy (France) make policies against climate change as much as left-wings such as Blair-Brown (UK) or Zapatero (Spain).
The republican-democrat issue regarding global warming happens only in US
Absolute rubbish, at least 90% think it's real. Probably quite a bit more. Our biggest problem is simply that so many people (especially old people, actually) just don't care.
