Hello, i'm from Mexico, here we have many river very contaminated, but nothing is done, i read the other day that many countries have this problem also, what is done in India and near countries to disminish this problem; that at the end affects us all??

If this river doesn't cross international boundaires (like the Colorado River, for example) then, as a soverign nation, Mexico is responsible for its environmental protection.

Mexico does have a federal agency much like the Environmental Protection Agency in the United States. Try to contact that agency as well as your local and fedderal elected leaders.

The United Nations Environmental Programme and several non-governmental organizations that sepcialize in environmental protection and advocacy, might also be able to help.

India got independence 60 years back... USA got about 260 years back...
i do not compare my country with US...
when did Mexico got independence...? consider it and you would be able to assess the condition in your country...

If Mexico got independence in 1650 that means your country had 356 years with her after independence for her development… anyways…
I visited Washington DC thrice since the year 2000 when the world trade towers were there… I met many Mexicans during those 6 months… I found no much difference between Mexicans and us Indians…
