Where does carbon dioxide naturally comes from?
Answer:
The major natural sources are animals, dead plants decaying, and plant respiration (at night plants "breath" like we do, taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide). Some parts of the ocean release CO2, while others absorb it. Volcanoes are a very tiny source. Details:
"The consumption of terrestrial vegetation by animals, and by microbes (rotting, in other words) emits about 220 gigatonnes of CO2 every year, while respiration by vegetation emits another 220 Gt. These huge amounts are balanced by the 440 Gt of carbon absorbed from the atmosphere each year as land plants photosynthesise.
Similarly, parts of the oceans release about 330 Gt of CO2 per year, depending on temperature and rates of photosynthesis by phytoplankton, but other parts usually soak up just as much – and are now soaking up slightly more."
"Total emissions from volcanoes on land are estimated to average just 0.3 Gt of CO2 each year – about a hundredth of human emissions."

it is an element like hydrogen or iron that naturally builds up in living things. eg. trees flesh etc.
It comes out of you when you breathe
Carbon Dioxide is a byproduct of life here on earth. Most organisms on this planet take in Oxygen and nutrients and give off carbon dioxide and other waste products.
It is a naturally occuring compound on this planet.
from human and animals in the respiration process, where we inhale O2(oxygen) and exhale CO2(carbon dioxide). On the other hand, plants respiratory process are the opposite than human and animals, where they inhale CO2 and exhale O2. Thats why we really need plants in this world.

Living things, all living things, release carbon dioxide as a by-product of cellular respiration. It's like the wasted gas of breathing.
We breathe it out.
CO2 is an element that emitted by all organisms, with the exception of plants. It's just a normal element found in everyday life- like iron or magnesium
Plants produce oxygen as a byproduct which animals use to breath. Animals in turn produce carbon dioxide when they exhale. Do you think if we quit breathing we could stop global warming or will global warming force us to quit breathing?
