How many barrels of crude will be burned...?
the public transportation used to bring attendees
the cars used
the electricity burned at the concerts
the planes used to ferry around the dedicated rock stars
the energy used in the production of the CDs to sell after the concerts

Answer:
Remember that the plastic in the CDs is petroleum-based as is the "poly" part of all those cotton/poly blend t-shirts on sale.
All those spots will be from CFLs?
All-acoustic sets to save on electricity?
Something tells me that the air will be "enhanced" by anthropogenic combustion products of harvested carbon-based fuels.
10s of thousands of plastic cups and bottles - all petroleum products.
Ironic isn't it?
Doesn't matter, global warming is a sham made by climatologists to get their funding. Search google videos for "The Great Global Warming Swindle". Now THAT is real science.
The swindle movie is not science.
It is simply a political statement which distorts science. The director has a history of putting out misleading stuff. In 1997 he made a series for Channel 4 called “Against Nature”, which compared environmentalists with Nazis. Channel 4 had to apologise for the misleading stuff in that one. The present movie is also a distortion of the science. More here:
"A Channel 4 documentary claimed that climate change was a conspiratorial lie. But an analysis of the evidence it used shows the film was riddled with distortions and errors."

Gore's movie may be a little over dramatic, but it has the basic science right. This movie does not.
Channel 4 itself undercuts the movie in a funny way. If you go to their website on the movie you find links to real global warming information. They also have a way to "Ask the Expert" about global warming. The questions go to a respected mainstream scientist who supports (mostly) human responsibility for global warming.
So, why did Channel 4 broadcast it?
"The science might be bunkum, the research discredited. But all that counts for Channel 4 is generating controversy."

It is very ironic. If they actually wanted to show the way and lead in protecting the environment then they would make every effort to use more green policies such as having the rock stars travel using public jets (I guess they can't demean themselves to have to sit in first class with wide seats sipping free drinks) Or using portable biofuel or biodiesel generators at the concert. Or force people to carpool by advertising that they are selling tickets to parking and only allowing maybe 1/4 as many spaces as tickets.
Also, al gore's movie is not science. He basically has many biologists who say that yes the earth is changing and those changes are causing all kinds of impacts. He tries to make the connection between co2 and the warming, which is disputed by scientists. He also implies that industrialization is to blame but never really makes that connection.
Gore still refuses to fly public jets and instead only uses private jets. At the congressional hearings about his movie he flatly refused to make a personal environmental pledge to reduce his own resource consumption.
Why can't we give thumbs down to STUPID and DUMB questions? I would really like an answer to this one!
