If we all open our umbrellas at once, will that provide enough shade for the Earth to stop global warming?

Answer:
If that doesn't work maybe Rosie O'Donnell's butt will
Not quite. The math has been done and the answer is that you need a one million square kilometre sunshade at the L1 point in space, this is where the Earth's gravity and the Sun's gravity are in balance - it's 1.5 million km away. That would take a lot of umbrellas and getting them into space could be a problem.
Global warming doesnt exist. Worry about something else that you can seriously change.
If you believe that then you'll believe Al Gore's silly movie about global warming.

Also I have so swampland and a bridge you may want to invest in.
you truly goin gto get that many people to stand that close for how long to accomplish what?
that is such a funny question! LOLZ
As long as the umbrellas are white
and everybody farts in moderation.
only if they are all white umbrellas. The shade wouldn't help... the reflective white would.
U got the solution for the Earth. Great ... no more worries.
funny
More relief than an armada of floating mirror barges...
Be carefull that might start another ice age
but lend me an umbrella
and we would have to produce billions of umbrellas not everybody got one
Your question clearly shows that you do not have even the slightest grip on understanding Global Warming. All you've done is show the world your stupidity and ignorance.
