Is it necessary to change the water in water beds?

Answer:
No but you need to add chemicals to keep the water fresh. I don't know where you would find since there are no more waterbed stores. At least in the Chicago area there are not. If you have a waterbed store, go in and ask them what chemical you need. If not, my husband says you can buy it at a pool store. He used to sell waterbeds for a living, many many years ago. In our area you can't even get a waterbed anymore. But he says go to a pool store. You just don't want fungus and algea to grow, and it will!!
We didn't when we had one, but we had a filter to keep the water clean and added chemicals to do so.

Would be your choice.
Clorox will do the job.
open the valve and smell it
it will tell you instantly
