Will our children thank us....?

...for being good custodians of this planet and its rescources?

Answer:
Definately not; whatever is gonna happen with climate change, it's gonna happen soon and we and our resource-hungry forefathers are responsible.
They don't usually thank us for anything so I guess not
no because our children won't be affected it will be our great grreat great great great great grreat great great great grandkids
I doubt it... Everything dies and thanks to humans so will the planet
dunno i would like to think they would but unlikely they never say thank you or please unless you ask them to
Not for just those reasons, your children will thank you for being a god parent and making their lives happy. Don't focus on being good to the planet, focus on both.
i think Caleb is right...but i also think they will thank us as we are all doing our bit to help now..with recycling...i do it even though i blinking well hate doing it!!
No way.
yes they will thank us, they might not be happy abt the planet r on the contrary they might thank u for that... but they will surely thank u when they bring up their own childrens, they will realize the happiness u felt when they took their first step, and the lives wonderful gifts u had given them..human life is short im sure theyll be happy enough to thank, n forget what the world had become n move on.. hopefull theyll make this planet a better place for happiness..live every tiny moment of life
Well, in 10-20 years it will happen. Will our children thank us? Well, that all depends on if we stop it. There are still die-hard skeptics, and the lazy.
No, we all could do a lot more.
They will flip us the bird for sticking them with huge taxes and a socialist system of government. They will have to fight for freedom and liberty all over again.
We are not being good stewards, so probably not. But they might hold us accountable for the sin of pilaging and raping the only world we have.

I'm a volunteer naturalist and my son went through the training program when he was 10. My husband also volunteers. And many people have thanked us. Which always feels good, but that's not why we do it. We do it because we want to give something back to an area of beauty that supports many different species of wildlife.
I hope that in the future the next generation and countless others to come will look upon our era with pride in what we have accomplish.

I have lots of info that I think you will find quite helpful and enlightening which can help to reach this goal:

Let us all strive for a greener/brighter future by helping to create a solid foundation for future generations to build upon, so we can hand them a beautiful world, filled with never ending awe and wonders!!

Where peoples differences and uniqueness are accepted, where we all live as one, helping one another so that we can all play our own mysteriously beautiful melodies in the never ending, awe inspiring, song of life :-)

I truly have faith in humanity and believe that someday our lives and world will truly be transformed for the better.
Well i doubt it, most of us (in our 30s) havent done enough to be considered good custodians, depends what lifestyle we have led i suppose.

A bit of recycling and low energy light bulbs isnt enough, neither is biodiesel and lpg run vehicles, neither is shopping for organic food in supermarkets.

Did you do your bit during the road protests? Do you only buy local food? Do you reuse all your grey water? Do cycle or walk instead of drive?

I suspect there are very few of us in the western world who are good custodians of this planet and its resources.

Some will say they are doing their bit, but in my opinion doing your/my bit means not taking more than we need and returning all back to the earth for its benefit not as landfill that will take years to rot (if at all) and not to create toxic gases etc.
