Will Global Warming ever come?

if it does, how long long from now?

Answer:
Okay first off some of the people that have answered your question are in denial and others seem to think that beleiving or aknowledging global warming has something to do with religion (I do not understand where that idea came from). Whatever the case may be, GLOBAL WARMING IS HERE. Yes the Earth goes through cycles of heating and cooling but what our environment has been going through over the last half-century is not a natural, it is caused by humans. Global warming will not stop unless there is initiative action taken by a large number of the human population. It is not something that we can simply turn off. Our way of life has created this situation and with our knowledge and technology we need to think of different ways to create our fuel and other energies and also change some habits of our industries. The Earth is a giant ecosystem made up of millions of smaller ecosystems which have been very unstable because of humans. We have raped the land killed off a ton of different species and have wreaked havoc upon our atmosphere. A lot of people do not want to admit that global warming is happening because they think if they do aknowledge it they will have to change their whole lifestyle around and that scares them. I do not know what will happen if we do not atleast try to make changes but it will not be good. If you want to learn more just keep researching and see what you can do to make a difference.
Yes it has come and gone numerous times now. Its called the cycle of the earth and it has been going on for millions of years. Its just the new hip thing to be scared about. Just like Y2k.

After Katrina, all the scientist said we would be getting worst Hurricanes. How many did we get last year?

It has been warming for hundreds of years. It is warming about one (1) degree every 100 years. It is a matter of where will it stop.
In London at the moment, there are grey skies and frequent showers, with occasional wind and cold. People here would love some global warming.
It's been warming fairly steadily since 1978, and will, on average, continue to do so for the next few hundred years. The process is slow, however, only about 0.03 C per year.
It is here now. The world is slightly warmer now than it was a few hundred years ago. That is all that global warming is. It is not sudden death and destruction. It is just a slight warming of the climate.
it has been here for a while
150.000 people die each year because of it
and in 2003 ,3500 people in Europe alone

It is here now. People who deny it have their heads in the hot sand. The greenhouse effect is contributing to the intensity of hurricanes and is causing melting of ice caps. Changes may come slowly or drastically with one great collapse.

Global Warming it hard to measure because there are normal changes year-to-year, decade-decade and century-century. So any given drought or hurricane can not be directly attributed but overall changes can be determined by the experts, and those experts agree that it is here, its results may be drastic, and the slower we are to react the worse it will be.

The scariest things we may see in the next 10 years are more hurricanes with Katrina-like intensity and the continued rising of sea-level causing flooding in low-lying countries. Longer term, we will see changes to climates such as current farming areas no longer having enough water. New areas will become better for farming but we'll have to adjust. Some species will become extinct and others will migrate and compete in different ways.

What's scary is that much of what is happening now was predicted by models in the 1960s and 1970 and they have been largely ignored.
NO one nows when it will come. But it depends on your opinion. If your are Christian you MIGHT look to the bible and see the God said he will never flood the word. If your are not Christian you MIGHT belive global warming.
all I know is that I live on the globe and it is warm not nothing else do I know about global warming...has it got anything to do with my pond turning over
I believe it will. My parents don't but I do.
