How much time have we got left?

Answer:
2 seconds while sending this answer.
We have 5 hours!
don't think anyone can answer that...i don't think too much longer though...the world has gone crazy
I can answer your question. We have a range but most people will now live to be somewhere around 80 years of age. To compute your "time left" subtract your age from 80. That is how much time left for you in years. Multiply by 365.25 for days ... again by 24 for hours ... and again by 3600 for seconds. They sell special clocks you can put around your house with a countdown of how many seconds you have left to live as a motivator. I highly suggest one for everybody.
Depends on whether one's an optimist or pessimist?!
Hi
Millions of years yet, don't believe the Green brigade, global warming has been around, for millions of years, it's just another way of getting more taxes from people.
There aren't enough people that care about our environment. Most people don't want to bother with the problems we have so they are in denial about them. To answer your question, It all depends on if we can wake up the people who want to ignore our planets problems and do something about it. I am not just talking about global warming. We have tons of problems. Many of our water sources are over polluted. Many species of fish are being fished out. We are still far from saving our rain forests. I could go on and on.
About 50 years.
Many hundred years I guess, don't worry
Thousands of years. Man is tough.

The question is will we be smart and live well, or wind up living very hard lives?

Being smart involves things like reducing toxic pollution, reducing global warming, developing alternative energy sources, preserving nature, not overpopulating, and not overconsuming.
We have all the time in the world! :)
Enough time to sit on FunQA.com asking/answering rhetorical questions when we could be doing something productive.
Not a lot since were destorying the earth with toxic fumes, and also the wildlife. And also not very long because Jesus is coming back!
billion of years.
The Bible gives us clues as what are the things that point to the end of the world as we know it.
If you are referring to a climate change, well man survived that last one. Should the climate change again, which I don't doubt it will, then we are quite capable of surviving it. In reality it depends on whether or not we can learn from it.

If you are referring to the end of Earth as we know it, well I'm sure humans will have gone extinct by then, but if not, many thousands of years.

But my advice, don't stop living just because the world is falling apart for many reasons, take a stand, and take action.
Do you mean for man, the earth, the solar system, or the universe?

For man, maybe a few thousand years. For the earth maybe a few billion years (until the sun goes supernova), for the solar system a few million years longer than the earth, and for the universe at least long enough for the leading edge of the big bang (that happened 15 billion years ago) to be overcome by gravity, and reverse itself ... at least 100 billion years would be my guess.
1,000,000,000 years plus or minus 1,000,000 years.
well, in approximately 5 billion years our sun is expected to turn into a red giant. Life on earth will pretty much cease to exist around then, seeing as how we'll lose our atmosphere and all =)
