The carbon footprint will be huge.
Of course we all know that this is not about preventing Global Warming.
It is all about promoting Al Gore's company that sells carbon credits and building up support for Al Gore's presidential campaign.
I guess they all have to ride in on bicycles. It'll be hard to get all the band equipment there that way, but they have to.
It just shows how silly the whole "man made global warming" nonsense is. If it were really such a terrible problem, the ones promoting it would follow the same rules they want everyone else to follow.
The truth is that Al Gore and Sheryl Crow don't believe all the junk they tell others to believe. I seriously doubt Sheryl Crow only uses one square of TP per day, but she wants everyone else to cut back so she can use more, I guess.
They're all hypocrites. I think most intelligent people can see through them.
You can bet your life the producers will only allow the cameras to be pointed at the chartered bus parking area plus the very few bicycles that will be used. All of the artists luxury diesel powered coaches and the audiences SUVs will be kept out of camera range.

Just kidding, even though the concert is canceled, it was for security purposes. But, the carbon footprint would have been large. The real question is would the benefit have outweighed the risk?
