What is the carbon emission difference between Gas and LPG?
What is the best LPG kit for maximum carbon reduction?
Answer:
well.. LPG = Liquefied Petroleum gas.
So... by the purest definition... LPG = Gas and there is no difference.
LPG compared to gasoline... LPG tends to burn more completely without having to resort to things such as a catalytic converter in a car's exhaust. But... BTU for BTU... you'll get just about the same amount of carbon. Because. Burning the carbon (oxidizing it) is what releases the heat energy.
You burn less BTUs worth of LPG to get the same useful power out of an engine because it burns more completely in the engine's combustion chamber. So it is marginally less polluting.
It should emissions per mile as the 2 don't burn quite the same. Both will produce more NO2 as they burn hotter. The Corbin will be nearly the same but gas or methane does not compress much . It is near to compressing water.so your tank will be larger.
