Does recycling paper damage the environment?

also how much money would i get if i sold paper to the recycling place

P.s.per pound

Answer:
You need to collect A LOT. The best thing to do would be to use the power of numbers: coordinate with community groups. Or if you REALLY feel enterprising, look at the market in your area and become an industrial paper disposal. Lots of businesses would love to have secure shredding and disposal - hospitals and insurance companies are BIGGIES. Anyway, price is usually by the ton.

Average scrap paper price as of
June 25, 2007:
$182.73 per ton
Price on June 10, 2007:
$182.73 per ton
Price a year ago:
$139.51 per ton

Where you'll make your money is from all the customers who need to dispose of sensitive information. You take it , shred it, and guarantee that this sensitive information is completely destroyed. Sell your refuse to the recycler.

Word to the wise: more than a few of these disposal businesses find that the money is so good taking the paper off of businesses' hands that they don't carry through on the less profitable disposal/recycling - they are discovered, lawsuits or criminal prosecution follows.
I don't know what you would consider "damage". Supermarkets used to pay 2 cents per pound. I think it may have gone done. Ask them what they'll pay next time you buy something in a paper or plastic bag.
well no it helps us actually paper is reused when you recycle and cud save 100 trees in a year so we dont have to cut down trees we can use the recycled they remake it

and u wud get bout 5cents a paper
No, not et al. But this is Eco-friendly work as well as save money.
