Permaculture: Do we need Crisis and Change?
Answer:
We already are into the crisis phase with no real change, yet.
Until 1. The leading governments of the world teach honest facts rather than political rhetoric, 2. take Global Warming as seriously as individual citizens, and 3. stop wasting money creating more rhetoric rather then quantifiable solutions; it's gonna stay the same or decline.
Stability is the premise of a manager, not a leader. Economists look for stability, leaders look beyond the period between elections.

greed has a hand in it and power hungry men
Only those who need a brick to fall on their heads...I suppose that would be quite a lot indeed.
What we need is awareness, compassion and foresight.
Crisis is a great motivator, and wakes people up to change
and inovation.
The Lethargy that comes with stability can lul people into false sense of security and tends to stop progress
Like the dark ages
So a bit of panic it healthy
lets hope the crisis is not in exess of peoples abilties to adjust, recover and shine
Terrance McKenna called these inovative moments in history times of novelty and the peaks were called renaisance.Invariable these times were associated with democracy and Mushroom cults(Terrance“s pet subject ,which he was trying to prove ,and did)
The non creative times were called times of habit and went hand in hand with religious domination.Such as the Dark ages
Crisis will cause change definately. Something has to give and when that happens people will get a wake up call and you know that you cannot go on with the way things were.
