Which of these do you recycle; Batteries, Glass, Plastic, Paper, Ink Cartridges?

Answer:
Hi . I recycle all of those things. Glass I send to the collection - plastic I take to my local collection point in Bagworth in the club car park. Trouble is they only take hard plastic so since I have bought a very good book on the three Rs I now collect polythene wrappers and have an address to send them to when i have enough. ( provided if you want it). We take our own bags to the supermarket so saving at least 2/3 of the plastic bags that we used to collect. We always reuse them and we try to get biodegradabel ones form the co-op or tesco. Morrisons are not very good at this yet. Paper I reuse both sides for trash that I print out, I shred some and use for chicken bedding and to feed my worms, then all the rest goes to the collection van. Envelopes i try to reuse but this is not always easy and so I cut out the plastic windows and compost them. The ink cartridges that I buy come with an envelope to recycle so I send them off. Batteries I use rechargable, car batteries i take to the tip where they collect separately. Alcaline batteries im afraid I am at a loss for. Hope this helps regards Meg.

-I've never had to do this. Not yet anyway.
I pretty much recycle anything that I can. Most times it is when I am somewhere else. I live in a building that only has a dumpster for everything. I do save my cans and take them in then donate the money to charity.
All that items on your question.
All of them now. The last time I bought ink cartridges for my printer they included an envelope for me to send the empties back in, I didn't even know I could recycle those.
cans
I recycle all of them. I know that the City of Los Angeles has programs that they can refer you to.
All of them!!
Recycle anything you are able to within your municipality! We all need to keep current with our local abilities. That said, I recycle everything and anything I can (home and work and even cell phones). And it isn't pretty when I catch others not properly recycling--but fortunately, some people, especially teens and young adults, get the hint: that they're going to be on this planet a lot longer than I am! (And for the older folks--they can be the "toughies"--sometimes they can get convinced that their children and/or grandchildren are inheriting the planet from THEM.)
We recycle glass, plastic, paper, and ink cartridges. We tried recycling batteries, but couldn't find anywhere to take them.
Batteries are hazardous waste. DO NOT RECYCLE! Collect them and then take them to the nearest HAZMAT collection agency. A lot of cities will have one or two Saturdays a month that they will take HAZMAT at specified locations. In house HAZMAT includes paint, cleaners, leftover prescription meds, paint thinners, anything flammable...and the list goes on. Contact your local waste collection department for more information.
I try to recycle everything, but I always recycle Ink Cartridges.
all of em, i guess.
I REuse, REduce, and REcycle all of those five items, PLUS: cardboard; used cooking oil; asphalt; computers and computer parts; magazines; mixed papers; telephone directories; typewriter ribbons; newsprint; aluminum cans; steel; water: tin; metal; copper; oil; and anything else that isn't easily and quickly biodegradable. -RKO- 07/06/07
All of them except ink cartridges because I didn't know you could. Will re-cycle these from now on though.
Glass, Plastic, Paper and Ink Cartridges
