They wanted to have a Live Earth concert in Washington, DC on the Mall. Senator imhofe blocked it, naturally.

So the director of the American Indian Museum on the Mall stepped up, risking the wrath of the Senator.

Their particular event is called "Mother Earth" and includes a whole day of activities.
