What do I do if I am in a bad mood that I can't seem to get mself out of?

I'm not mean or anything, I just am not happy. What should I do?

Answer:
I always tell my self. "It could be worse" and "Everything happens for a reason" Just think about it. Because your crabby today and not wanting to do anything maybe it kept you from getting in a fight with a friend. There could be many reasons but dint let it go on to long. Go out by yourself when you start feeling a little better. Take a walk and think about what ever is on your mind and don't worry. Things will get better.
I know what you mean...sometimes you just need to find something that makes you happy, or you could just see if it passes. Mabe it's just one of those times...just try to have fun
Everyone has there ups and downs. Give it two weeks and if you still feel this way talk to your doctor, it could be hormonal, depression...even diet can affect you moods
Turn up the radio loud to your favorite station and sing!
Try to escape it by watching a movie or reading a good book. That'll put your mind in a whole nother world for a while.

There is always an underlying reason for unhappiness, can you identify it? If you can't do it by yourself, perhaps you could find a professional to talk to? They can probably help you get started on making some changes in the way you do life. You may find that over time, it will bring you some peace. To make any progress, it is important that you respect the ideas of the person you talk to about your problems.
Tell yourself you are happy! Remember the things you enjoy and appreciate in life. Take time to spoil yourself.
The first thing that I would do is try to figure out when the bad mood started and what might have caused it.

The second thing I would do is seek professional help.
I began seeking out professional help as soon as I realized that I could not help myself anymore.
