Do you find joy wherever you are?

I always have fun. For example, I work a very hard, physical job. The part of the department I work in is the hardest job in the whole building. I love it. My team and I take pride in our work and have a blast every night. We are the only team to do this job night in and night out. The other teams that rotate in and out of our area do nothing but gripe about taking their turn at the job. I just shake my head and smile.
The thing is I would always rather be home or out doing something other than working, but I need to earn a living. I decide a long time ago I was going to what ever I had to do to the best of my ability and have a good time doing it. If I have to work I'm going to have fun with it. I've surrounded myself with people who think like I do and we have a blast every night.
I've come to realize the attitude in a situation is much more important to happiness than the situation it self.
How about you? Do you enjoy life wherever you are and whatever you are doing?

I can't believe I finally have met someone who actually shares my same philosophy in life!! Yes! I am the same way. Even if it's taking out the trash, I try to have the best time in any situation. Life, gotta seize every moment of happiness! You just made my day..thank you. : -)

well ain't you somethin! i do try to look on the bright side, but joy for me implies it's opposite.sorrow. so i look more for peace of mind. i do bring my own fun to the "party", whatever that may be.
I do find joy where i live i enjoy my life I love that im surounded by people who love me!!
My aunt once asked me why I was always so happy. I started giving her a long philospohical explanation, which she interrupted.
"That's not it, " she said. When you were born you had a smile on your face. You were born happy and you were always a happy baby."
I'm just a big baby now.
i enjoy whatever i'm doing, even when im alone i enjoy myself. life's too short to be otherwise.
i never get bored.i make everything i do fun
