Is there ANY way out of this for me?
I asked him to get back with me after a month cus I realized how much I loved him and he said no...I then bumped into him accidentally a month after that and we start to chat. I ask him why he doesn’t want to get back and he says that it’s because he 'just doesn’t want a girlfriend right now' so I suggest a 'casual relationship' and he happily agrees. So from then on for the next 6 months that’s what goes on and we end up sleeping together. Everything is great and we talk to each other for hours and hours each day until 1 day I feel that it’s wrong to just be sleeping with someone who doesn’t want anything more with me.
so I tell him that I don’t want to see him talk to him again...cus of the reason I mentioned and also that it'd be best that we kept our distance (don’t know what I was thinking) and all he says is 'fine!' but seems really depressed about it. Then a week later I realize I love him too much so I start talking to him again he does talk but just seem quieter than b4. The only thing he isn’t apprehensive about is sex. I tried to make him laugh but he's just been distant to me ever since. I even apologized for the way I abruptly said I didn’t want to see him again.
but the thing is I love this guy more than I’ve ever loved anyone and I’m SURE that from all the hints I’ve been dropping he must know that I really love him and at times I too feel he loves me (you know when u just know that someone loves you)...like the way they look at you, the way they hold you and the things they do for you etc. BUT then all of a sudden he pulls back for a days and distances himself when I try to ask him why so I just leave him alone and then out of the blue he just comes and asks to meet up again (for sex that is)...I mean I know for some men love is sex...well that’s what I’ve heard but I may be wrong. But on a deeper level, why do you think he acts the way he does? What do you think I should I do now?

-start over now and be the best I can be
please don’t tell me to forget about him because I CANT!!
And also, what does this show about him? Is he sensitive, uncommitted etc...?

You seem to be in a position where when u are with the guy you are not totally comfortable and when your not with him you feel you need him. When he rejects you back on your terms you want him even more. Have made the same mistake myself and now have to sit back and watch a girl I should have done more to keep get married to another guy. Work out your true feelings and where you are in your life if your ready to commit sort it out and give 100 per cent if not leave it be and see where life takes you, but dont be surprised if one day he tells you he is a dad to another lass your heart sinks if you still love em I tell ya. Wow, I'm glad I'm married and don't have to deal with this dating scene and the games people play anymore! Look, just be straight up and honest. Ask him if there is something that your doing or have done that is bothering him so that you can fix it and move on with this relationship because you care about it that much. If he's not interested, it's time to cut the cord and move on. Live is too short to play games with one's emotions don't you think? "Does he love me? Why doesn't he show it? When I was dating I went through the same thing so by the time my husband came around I was done with being playing games and told him straight up this is what I want out of a relationship and if he cant deal with it he'd better find someone else because I was tired of games.
