Imagination(Science project, please answer, and deadline today).?

1. What would we be without imagination?

2. Why is it importanat?

3. With out imagination what would we have?

4. Do you think Imagination is dangerous?

Answer:
#1 Traditionalists! Hey, we've gotten into such trouble with this concept of doing, because this is the way we have always done!
#2 Because times change. Others imaginations are changing the world, but with these imaginations problems occur. Then your imagination may solve the problem. I mean we do use the past to answer allot of the questions of today, but, sometimes this theory has to be shelved, and startlingly new ideas need to be our only hope.
#3 History, and no future. We would be a species who use only instincts and past failures and past accomplishments to solve our problems.
#4 I think it was "Cartier" that said "the only time an idea is dangerous is when it's the only one you have."
Give it some thought.

Or don't you have an imagination?
sounds like... you have no imagination.
1. we would be without so many things central to our lives like lights, television, telephones, rugs, paintings, music, hues and tints of colours, plays and books, movies and horrific things like the atom bomb, tanks, guns, and other weapons without imaginations to dream them up or imagine them better.

2. it is important because it causes us to use our brain to think of things that are not yet here.to make things up and challenge ourselves. It stretches our psyche and our brains to think in ways that we don't normally think and "think outside the box" as they like to say.

3. We wouldn't have all the things I named in questions #1. I think we would be a very empty and dull civilization without imagination. (perhaps I answered #1 and #3 backwards)

4. yes, imagination is a dangerous thing because it is personal and cannot be controlled, and anything that cannot be controlled is something that is not liked by organized government and religion. Some of the most horrific weapons were created from man's imagination.so yes, it is dangerous. The Salem Witch Trials came from some little girl's imagination.yes, it is dangerous. But then the Sistine Chapel ceiling also came from man's imagination and that is beautiful.so imagination is a double-edged sword.dangerous but beautiful and necessary at the same time.
Without imagination, we would never ask the question "Why".
If we never asked that question, we would still be living in caves and fighting with sticks.
Now we live in isolation and fight with threats of nuclear anihilation.
Which is better?
You decide.
