I feel younger and more alive when around younger people, even as the grandma?

And like the life and hope is being zapped out of me when around my elderly, negative relatives? Who can relate and what's the solution?

Answer:
I can relate.
I love being around my grandchildren and in church. The people at my church where I go are so awesome and real.

When I am around negative people it does make me have a down feeling at first. Even cashiers at Wal-Mart where I live.

Here is what I do...I usually try to talk something positive and try to cheer them up, make them laugh, Some times I will send them a card or something to help them when they are sad, letting them know you care will make them smile even if they don't show it right away.
I Also pray for them. God knows how to cheer one up.

I haven't really had any problem with this except a few times and some were sad because they lost someone. (Death) That is the hardest time to ever try to cheer someone up.
So I just give them a shoulder to cry on and be there for them.
Flowers are good to.

I can not go to nursing home :( to visit though, I am not sure why, but not only do I feel sick I feel so sad for them and wish I could take all their sadness away.
You tend to absorb thr energy that surrounds you. Yhis is quite normal, however, it is healthy to try to learn how to give out positive energy to those who need it.
