What would you do to forget about...?
1) a reaccuring dream about being raped?
2) paranoia?
3) a constant fear that I'm being stalked?
4) The strong feeling that the rapist in the dream is the stalker that I fear of?
Please help me. Just as a note, the person who raped me in the dream lives less than a mile away from me. I'm just so scared.,I know it's not real, but it's really freaking me out!
Answer:
Do you personally know him, or is he just a stranger that you've seen around? In real life, does he seem odd - does he watch you or do anything possibly stalker-ish? Or is he just normal, as far as you can tell?
And have you been sexually abused before?
I think if the man in your dream is just a stranger who you've seen around the place - you're having a recurring dream about something that is really frightening to you (being raped by a stranger). I have recurring dreams about things I'm really frightened of, like that. But it is strange that you have a recurring dream about this particular man. If he is a stranger, does he remind you of someone else that you've known/you know? You could be unconsciously formed an association between the man in your dream (and a mile away from your house) and someone you personally know/knew who you felt scared of for some reason. If you understand that you've formed an association like that, you can know that there is no reason for you to be afraid of the man a mile away from, because he is a different person.
EDIT - several people have suggested that you like him. I don't think you do - because you have paranoia, and are constantly afraid that you are being stalked. It sounds like the dreams, the rapes in the dreams, are something that you really dread and are really afraid of (even if it is subconscious)
Meet this person so that he will be demystified. He will probably turn out to be a really nice man.
1- I would try to change what happen on it.
2- I would try to focuss my energy onto my activities over than someone elses over me
3- Try to face my fears, and define if i feel stalked or i would like to be stalked for an specific person
4- Well, do you like this person or does the person likes you and you dont like this person back.
Are you sure youre not hidding a secret love??
two things may be going on here: The stronger is a bad case of paranoid delusional schizophrenia.. the subliminal and more likely is that you want this neighbor fellow but you are afraid of letting go the inhibitions that keep you from telling him so-- so you go to imagining that he is stalking and raping you to fulfill your unmitigated lusts. Either way: you need therapy-- soon!, and; you need to ask a police to check the dude out - just in case he really is a stalker.
make a friendship with that man. be free.
